Skills System Support Group
What is the Skills System Support Persons Group?
The Skills System Support Persons Group provides those individuals providing support to participants enrolled in the Skills System Initial Training Group an opportunity to learn the Skills System themselves so that they can better support the group participant outside of the classroom. This group also provides an opportunity for support persons to observe the facilitators interact with group participants and model how to assist group participants using the Skills System.
Who should attend this group?
This group is designed for the participants of the Skills System Initial Training Group AND their designated support person. Both individuals are required to attend this group.
What is the time commitment to this group?
The Skills System Support Persons Group meets once a month for one hour. Attendance is mandatory for the group participant to remain enrolled in the Skills System Initial Training Group.
When are the groups being held?
The Skills System Support Persons Groups are held once a month on Wednesdays from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Where do the groups meet?
The groups are being held at the Center for Personal Growth, Inc. The Center for Personal Growth, Inc. is located in the Normal Heights area of San Diego near the corner of 30th Street and Adams Avenue.
How much does this group cost?
This group is funded through the San Diego Regional Center and is provided at no cost to all San Diego Regional Center approved group participants and their support person.
How do I enroll in this group?
Enrollment in this group is automatic when a participant is enrolled in the Skills System Initial Training Group.
